KBB is one of many organizations that SEPF pairs with as part of The Great American Cleanup and The International  Coastal Cleanup.

The Great American Cleanup is a nationwide event that takes place each spring and engages more than 5 million volunteers and participants each year to create a positive lasting impact. Working together inspires people to take action every day to improve as beautify their local environments.

The International Coastal Cleanup is an annual, worldwide event, established by the Ocean Conservancy, an organization that works to protect our oceans from the challenges they face each and every day. The International Coastal Cleanup Day encourages us to get out to our beaches and waterways and clean up the garbage that has washed up on shore and has been left by visitors every day. Trash in the water impacts the world on so many levels, including harming our wildlife, as well as humans. This annual event encourages people to get out there and take care of their beaches which, in turn, can have an impact on how they live their daily lives; helping them to be more conscientious about hoe their lifestyle choices affect the oceans.
