New Beach Mats Enhance Accessibility

At Surfing’s Evolution & Preservation Foundation, we believe Florida’s beaches should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we’re proud to continue our partnership with the Florida State Parks Foundation by providing a $100,000 grant for new accessible beach matting at seven state parks. These mats make it easier for visitors using mobility devices to navigate the sand and enjoy Florida’s world-class coastline.

Our latest contribution ensures that more people can fully experience the beauty and freedom of the beach—whether that means taking in the view, feeling the ocean breeze, or rolling right up to the water’s edge.

We’re honored to play a role in preserving and improving Florida’s beaches for all who love them. By working with the Florida State Parks Foundation, we’re helping to protect these special places while making them more welcoming and accessible. See you at the beach!
