Wishing Trash Turtles Continued Success

We can’t be happier to wish CO, founder of Trash Turtles and a long-time partner of Surfing’s Evolution and Preservation Foundation, continued success with her nonprofit after her recent move to California. Our association began in 2020 shortly after this energetic ten-year-old and her family set up the Trash Turtles foundation, focused on environmental awareness and trash clean-up.

We’ve been fortunate to collaborate and fund the work of Trash Turtles. A role model in her hometown near St. Petersburg, this amazing young lady represents the impact of what one motivated person can do to tackle a problem. Her motto “Save the planet one piece of trash at a time’ has raised awareness about how our everyday lives (and our trash) impacts our environment.

When we sponsored Dr. Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots Youth Program event in Tampa in 2023, we were thrilled for CO to meet her and even more excited when she was later elected to the youth council. What an exciting development for a young lady doing community service that benefits our natural world.

The Trash Turtles’ hashtag #LeaveWith3 gives us all a goal to remove 3 pieces of extra trash wherever we go.

The Endless Summer® Florida specialty license plate,  Surfing Capital® merchandise, and Endless Summer® specialty license plate sticker were created by Surfing’s Evolution & Preservation Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable organization as a revenue source to assist with our financial quest to preserve Florida Beaches.
